Hannah Kern is an educator based in New York City. Hannah has 10 years of experience teaching humanities to upper elementary and middle school-aged students. In addition to teaching, Hannah has run a special education program, designed curriculum, and served as a teacher mentor and coach. Hannah works as a literacy interventionist and executive functioning coach in private practice. She has been trained in the PAF (a branch of Orton Gillingham) for literacy intervention work. She is passionate about educating the whole child and finding ways that all children can be successful in the classroom.
Hannah has a Masters of Arts in Childhood Education and Special Education from New York University and a Bachelors of Science in Public Policy and Administration from James Madison University. She is New York State Certified in Childhood Education and Special Education (grades 1-6).
In her spare time Hannah enjoys reading, SoulCycle, and hanging with her puppy Monty.
